Welcome to our little patch of paradise in North Idaho! We’re a lively family of five, navigating the wild world of homesteading. Between the chaos of goats bleating and kids screeching, we promise to share a tale or two of our ever-entertaining adventures. Join us as we learn through trial and error on our 14-acre homestead.
Life on the Homestead
From raising chickens that think they own the place to ducks who provide a comedic quack-fest, we’ve embraced the joy and laughter that come with raising farm animals. Let’s not forget our garden, which sometimes yields an impressive harvest and other times, well, we like to call that a science experiment! We sow seeds in hopes of veggies, while the pigs keep us grounded, reminding us daily that life is messy but delightful.
Learning Together
As homeschoolers, we believe in a faith-centered approach to education. Our lessons are often derived from the land, animals, and the joys of this crazy lifestyle. We’ll share DIY projects and wholesome recipes that come straight from our kitchen (with a healthy sprinkle of love, of course).
